01. It's the monument on the Xinpu Street, on the way to Sam Shing temple.


02. Sam Sheng Kung, located in Lian Hua Shan, is also called the Sheng Di temple.
The pilgrims mainly worship Guan Sheng Di Jun.
As for the three saints, they are respectively Guan Sheng Di Jun, Lu Dong Bin, and Sih Ming Jhen Jyun.

04. Sam Shing Kung is situated at the middle of  Lianhua Hill.
Standing on the square outside the temple, you can overlook the beautiful village of Xinpu.

06. Yiyong temple is located beside the Xinpu Elementary school, where you can arrive at after conquering the long stairs.


07. When experiencing Lin Shuang-wen Rebellion, residents in Xinpu formed the Yi Min Jyun, a troop, to prevent
Southern Min from helping Lin Shuang wen.
And the dead was buried here when it was on its way of being delivered back to Xinpu. However, the carts
were stuck and there weren't enough oxen.
It became a tomb and was named "Ji Yi Ting", and was rebuilt into a pavilion in Daoguang second year(1876).
In contrast, the pilgrims who go to the Yi Yong Miao to respect the dead are much more than the pilgrims who go to this temple.

10. The "scholar's four treasures" are the item you must have if you want to get good grades.


11. Founded in Daoguang 23 years (1843), this was the first of the three Wun Chang Miao, including Chionglin and Guangxi,
to be constructed.
After getting rebuilt, the temple looks beautiful. But it seemed that there weren't as many pilgrims as the other temple.

15. Xinpu Yu Tian temple, is more commonly known as Ma Zu Miao. The pilgrims worship Ma Zu.
It's the only temple on Xinpu St. that will have their 100th anniversary.

18. Guang Huo temple, built in Xianfeng 10 years (1860), was located at the center of the Xinpu St. in the early years.
The construction was advocated by the local gentry Pan Rong Guang.


19. The pilgrims mainly worshipped Sam Shan Kwok Wong.
And the local people call the temple "Wang Ye Gong".


20. Sam Shan Kwok Wong was the lord of the Mount Jin, Mount Ming, Mount Du in Kwangtung Teochow Jieyang county.
It is a legend that Sam Shan Kwok Wong had helped the Emperor Taizu of Song, Zhao Kuangyin, to win all China.
